Seeking guest poets for Whimsical Wednesdays With Friends
Are you a poet? A wannabe poet? Or just curious to give it a try? Good for you! I am always looking for whimsical, brave, and creative souls to do a guest poet spot for my blog. In case you haven’t noticed, I like funny poems that tend to be a tad bit self-effacing. For Lord’s sake, don’t be afraid to embarrass yourself–that’s half the fun!

Still interested? Well then, I must now insist on a few pesky rules: Your poem MUST be G-rated, and totally and completely inoffensive. I reserve the right to say no thanks without providing a reason. You give me permission to use your poem on my blog, but maintain full rights to the poem, if you choose to publish it elsewhere. I also ask that you send me a few sentences about yourself so I can introduce you properly. Authors, if you would like to provide a book cover and a brief blurb about your latest release, I will happily include that info when I post your poem.

Please send all poems and questions to my e-mail address above. And thanks for your interest!

Cindy Blackburn is living the dream! She spends her days sitting around in her pajamas, thinking up unlikely plot twists and ironing out the quirks and kinks of lovable characters. In other words, Cindy’s a writer.

When she’s not typing on her laptop or feeding her fat cat Betty, Cindy enjoys taking long walks with her cute hubby John. A native Vermonter who hates snow, Cindy divides her time between the south and the north. Most of the year you’ll find her in South Carolina. But come summer she’ll be on the porch of her lakeside shack in Vermont. Yep, it’s a place very similar to Lake Elizabeth.

Cindy’s favorite travel destinations are all in Europe, her favorite TV show is The Big Bang Theory, her favorite movie is Moonstruck, and her favorite color is orange. Cindy dislikes vacuuming, traffic, and lima beans.
